In Japan, there is a commercial culture called “Hatsuuri (first sale).
The first sale is to wish customers a happy new year through shopping.

In Japan gibt es eine Handelskultur namens “Hatsuuri (Erstverkauf)”.
Der erste Verkauf soll den Kunden ein frohes neues Jahr durch Einkaufen wünschen.

日本には、「初売り」をいう商い文化があります。
初売りは、お客様の1年の幸せを願い、お買い物を通じて、新年のご挨拶をします。

It is customary to sell a set of “fukubukuro,” or “goody bags,” at the first sale.
Assortments of items of larger value than the selling price.
It is said that if you buy a “fukubukuro,” you will spend that year happily.

Es ist üblich, beim ersten Verkauf ein Set von “fukubukuro” oder “Goody Bags” zu verkaufen.
Sortimente von Artikeln, deren Wert höher ist als der Verkaufspreis.
Es heißt, wenn man einen “fukubukuro” kauft, wird man das Jahr glücklich verbringen.

初売りには「福袋」というお得なセットを販売する習慣があります。
販売価格より大きな金額の商品を詰め合わせます。
福袋を買うと、その1年幸せに過ごせるといわれています。

The QUARTETT held its first sales on January 4 and sold “fukubukuro”.
