キュボロ教室全国コンペティションを開催しました

キュボロのコンペティションは

キュボロ・クリエイティブシンキングの規定により

同一条件のもとで

５分間でキュボロで玉の道を構築し

どれだけ長い時間、玉が転がる道を構築できるか

を競う競技会です。

5歳から１６歳までの子どもたちが一つの会場で競い合います。

長いタイムを出すためには、ゆっくり転がるようにしなければならないので

止まってしまいやすくなります。

キュボロの13種類のパーツの組み合わせ方を工夫して

スタートからゴールまでつながる道を構築し

より長いタイムを出す、という目的を達成することにチャレンジするのです。

キュボロのパーツの仕組み（プログラム）を正しく理解し

子どもたちの課題解決能力を育ててくれるのです。

 

※ なお、キュボロ教室は「学習指導要領準拠」

「学習の基盤となる資質・能力」である「情報活用能力」を効果的に醸成します。

※ 東京大学名誉教授 汐見稔幸先生推薦の教室です。

全国のキュボロ教室から

5歳から17歳までの生徒が集まりました。

それぞれ、こんな道を作ろうと

頭の中でイメージを作ってくる生徒

実際に家で繰り返し実験を繰り返してくる生徒

当日の閃きを信じてチャレンジする生徒

各自思いは様々です。

本大会には、キュボロ教室を日本で応援してくださっている

大西健介衆議院議員が子どもたちを励ましにおいでくださいました。

子どもたちは限られた時間に

自分のアイディアを形にしていきます。

思い通りの道になっているか

組み合わせに間違いやミスがないか

最大限集中して精一杯のチャレンジをします。

 

制限時間が終わると記録を計測します。

思い通りの道ができて

公式記録が認められると

忘れられない感動の瞬間です。

キュボロ教室のアナログでリアルな成功体験は、

オンラインやバーチャル、デジタルの世界では体験できない

自信と自己肯定感を育みます。

今回のキュボロ全国コンペティションは

スイス発祥の教育文化キュボロで

日本の子どもたちの教育貢献してもらいたいと

在日スイス大使館がご後援くださいました。

 

 

このコンペでは

特に優秀な成績を収めた

子どもたち4名が優秀賞を受賞しました。

チャレンジクラスは

大きな記録を狙った挑戦者が

ことごとく、玉が止まってしまい記録が出なかったので

受賞は1名でした。

でもそれは

チャレンジしたことの証であり、結果です。

仲間はともに応援しあい

お互いの成功を祈りあう

これもキュボロ教室が

子どもたちに育む力。

 

お互いに、敵味方になり、否定しあうのではなく

より高いレベルをともに目指す仲間として

年齢、地域、技術の分け隔てなくお互いに応援しあう力を養うのです。

ジュニアクラスは所沢校、岡崎校の皆さんが受賞しました。

National Competition for cuboro school was held.The cuboro competition is to see how long one can construct a path for a ball to roll on a cuboro in 5 minutes under identical conditions.

Students aged 5 to 17 took on the challenge in one venue.

You have to roll slowly to get a long time, making it easier to stop.

The challenge is to build a path that leads from the start to the finish line and achieve a more extended time by devising ways to combine the 13 parts of the cuboro.

It helps children better understand how the cuboro parts work (the program) and fosters problem-solving skills.

The cuboro school effectively fosters the “ability to utilize information,” which is one of the “qualities and abilities that form the basis of learning,” by the Courses of Study.

Dr. Toshiyuki Shiomi, Professor Emeritus of the University of Tokyo, recommends the class.

Students aged 5 to 17 gathered from cuboro schools all over Japan, from Saitama in the north to Miyazaki in the south.

Some students create an image in their minds to make such a path.

In addition, some students repeat the experiment repeatedly at home.

Some students believe in the spark of the day and take on the challenge.

Each person has different thoughts.

I am Sebastian Etter, CEO of CUBORO and son of the inventor of the CUBORO marble run system.

It is a pleasure to see so many people enjoying CUBORO and creatively developing and even competing in championships.

For almost 40 years, CUBORO has stood for lifelong learning, fun, and creativity. CUBORO can be used to create an infinite number of different marble runs. That’s why I am very excited about the solutions you will come up with today. There will certainly be unbelievable tracks built.

Kensuke Onishi, a member of the House of Representatives supporting the cuboro school Class in Japan, came to this convention to encourage the children.

Students will have a limited amount of time to formulate their ideas.

They challenge themselves as best they can, ensuring that the path is the way they want it to be and that the combination has no mistakes or errors.

At the end of the time limit, the record is measured.

It is an unforgettable and emotional moment when the path is made the way you want, and the official record is recognized.

The analog and realistic success experience of the cuboro school fosters a sense of confidence and self-assurance that cannot be experienced in the online, virtual, or digital world.

The Embassy of Switzerland in Japan sponsored this year’s national cuboro competition, hoping to contribute to the education of Japanese children with Cubolo, an educational culture that originated in Switzerland.

Four children received excellence awards in this competition, with the most outstanding results.

There was one award winner in the Challenge Class because every challenger who tried for an extensive record failed to set a record because their ball stopped.

But that is a testament to the challenge and the result.

Schoolmates support each other and wish each further success, another power that the Cuboro classroom nurtures in the children.

Instead of being adversaries and denying each other, they are to cultivate the ability to support each other as friends striving for a higher level, regardless of age, region, or skill.

This year’s winners were from Kokubunji School for the Challenge Class and Tokorozawa and Okazaki Schools for the Junior Class.

After the competition, there was a recap and game tournament.

They reflected on today’s challenge independently and found their next goal.

Then, a game tournament was held for those who train and play cuboro well to enjoy each other’s games.

With a different look than at the competition, they become familiar with cuboro together with their friends.

The cuboro school is ideal for fostering children’s creativity in the age of AI, enhancing their programming thinking and learning skills while familiarizing them with cuboro.

President Sebastian has expressed interest in participating in the next competition, which may be held in the spring.

Everyone, please look forward to the next national competition.
